I'm Najeel Range.
A dedicated designer, artist and activist, Najeel graduated from the College of Design at North Carolina State University. Majoring in Art & Design with a concentration in Soft Construction, she was able to enhance her love for textiles, fashion & design thinking. She integrated her experience through countless creative projects like photography, fashion collections & art direction.
Najeel realized that her true interests & passion all led to 2 things– color & materials. With this new realization & determination to express all creative ideas, she set off for a new perspective!
In 2019 Lewis College Pensole L.E.A.D were the first to expose her to the technicalities of product & material development related to the footwear industry. Her last program, with LCP, she worked with a full design team to produce innovative RTW and FTWR collections for New Balance x Footlocker.
After receiving her Bachelor of Art and Design, Najeel enrolled in a Masters Program for Fashion Merchandising & Buying at Polimoda. Located in Florence, Italy, for 9 months, she studied important lessons in retail finance, gained an understanding of various KPIs defined by factors like consumer behavior, product development timelines, visual merchandising strategies & retail sales.
She took courses like Quantitative Methods, Retail Planning, Sustainable Textiles, Operations & Supply Chain, E-Commerce & Omni-channel Marketing. Along with a few courses in Product Focus: Leather, Fashion & Fine Jewelry Merchandising etc. She rounded out her Masters experience by presenting a West Hollywood located muliti-brand concept store focused on buying ethically sourced & sustainably focused brands to a panel of her mentors, professors and peers.
Najeel then moved to Berlin as a Merchandising & Operations Intern for 3 months, completing her Masters, at Voo Store. Voo is a luxury multi-brand concept store known for hosting brand collaborative events, timely brand collaborations with a curated assortment of brands.
Najeel now resides in New York.
