2021 Concept Board + Color Palette

This collection relates to the student theme – “Advance”, through bringing awareness to increased plastic waste and racial injustice. 
Moving forward in a purposeful way

Inspiration is taken from activism through fiber work and recent global events (2020-2021). In this collection all plastic is recycled from various packaging to further symbolize the mass amount of global consumption. This 3 look collection is a small visual representation of a large impact on empowerment and awareness shown through the work of embellishment & embroidery.
